What is this place ?

You might remember me blogging about malware until late 2022. I stopped because I got a job as a Technical Cyber Threat Intelligence analyst. I could not share what I was working on professionally — obviously — and I did not want to reverse malware during my free time anymore. Instead, I spent time reading about Intelligence — not necessarily cyber related. It made my interest for Geopolitics and History grow.

On this brand new blog, I want to expand on those subjects : Cyber, Intelligence, and Geopolitics. I am by no means an expert. Everything I write here is just from someone on the Internet, nothing else. On this space, the rule is that I will write about anything I find interesting. I am doing this because I like to write and think, which in many aspects are the same thing. It is also my way of sharing back with the community.

Mataroa, the blog engine I use, allows comments on posts. For now, I will keep the option on. So if I write something you disagree, — or agree — you can say it directly under the post. I will only filter out disrespectful comments.

If you are wondering about the TLD for this blog, here is the explanation. If I am not on my computer doing cyber-stuff, I read hardcover books and write on paper with a fountain pen. Every post is first discussed as notes in my Zettelkasten. When I am satisfied with the discussion, I make a couple of drafts on paper. Finally, I type the final draft and make minor adjustments¹. So this blog is really written with ink, hence the idea for the domain name.

Now you know better where you are, and what you might find. I have absolutely no idea where this project is going, and that is maybe why it is exciting.
